Our young Gunners aim to bounce back from their recent defeats when they take on Ipswich Town in the U18 Premier League South on Saturday.
The match will take place at Ipswich Town Training Centre, with kick-off scheduled for 12pm (UK time).
It’s been a tricky campaign for Adam Birchall’s side, with just two wins from seven league games recorded since the turn of the year. We were beaten 3-0 at home by Brighton and Hove Albion a week ago, currently leaving us in 11th place with 21 points.
The opposition
The Tractor Boys won just one 2025/26 league game before the new year, which came in October’s 3-0 win over Birmingham City. They have since begun to gather momentum, though, beating Fulham, West Ham United and Leicester City to help propel them off the foot of the table.
However, their 5-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday has kept them bottom with 14 points.
The Suffolk side also got as far as the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup, beating Sheffield United and Bromley along the way, but were eventually knocked out by Everton 4-2 in extra-time.
We last faced the East Anglian outfit at the Sobha Realty Training Centre earlier this campaign, when strikes from Ceadach O’Neill and Brando Bailey-Joseph, as well as a brace from Kyran Thompson, saw us win 4-2 in north London.
