Mikel Arteta has made four changes from the side that started the weekend’s win over Everton to face Bayer Leverkusen at Emirates Stadium.

Ben White is back into the defence as Jurrien Timber misses out entirely with injury, with Piero Hincapie also starting in the back four against his former club, replacing Riccardo Calafiori at left back.

Leandro Trossard returns from the hip complaint that ruled him out at the weekend, with Noni Madueke dropping to the bench, while Viktor Gyokeres leads the line up front.

Kai Havertz, who scored our goal in the first leg last week, is named on the bench. The German will make his 100thappearance for us if he comes on to face his former side. Max Dowman is also among the subs after his goalscoring cameo at the weekend.

The visitors name the same team that started the first leg last week at the BayArena, which ended 1-1.
