David Raya has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for March – and your votes can help him win the trophy!

Our shot-stopper has enjoyed a fine season between our posts, and his form during the last month has continued to be exceptional as he increased his clean sheet tally for the season to 15 with two more shutouts as he chases down a third consecutive Golden Glove.

The Spaniard’s month began with our 2-1 win against Chelsea on the first day of the month, ensuring we collected all three points by pulling off a mighty save in added time to deny an Alejandro Garnacho cross from creeping in at the far post.

Following that, he managed to remain unbeaten as we beat Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0 at the Amex Stadium, while we ended the month with a maximum haul of nine points thanks to another tight defensive display against Everton as we left it late to collect another precious victory.

David made a total of nine saves during those games, and his efforts have seen him named on a seven-player shortlist for the divisional award.

He is up against three stars who netted three times in March – Anthony Gordon, Morgan Gibbs-White and ex-Gunner Danny Welbeck, while another player with Arsenal links is also recognised in Fulham’s Alex Iwobi.

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes plus Everton midfielder James Garner complete the list of contenders, one of whom will be crowned the Player of the Month following a poll of supporters and the views of a panel of experts.

You can vote for David from now until midday on Monday, March 30.
