Voting is now open for our Player of the Month for March – but which of the four contenders will you opt for?
It was another busy but successful period for our men’s first team, as we extended our lead at the top of the table to nine points and progressed to the quarter finals of both the FA Cup and Champions League, winning five of our seven games.
In a month of excellent displays, we’ve opted for these four players to be shortlisted, but which one deserves the prize the most? Evaluate them now and vote for your favourite below:
THE KING’S MERCY
The highlight of Ebere’s month came when he scored a superb long-range strike to open the scoring against Bayer Leverkusen, ultimately paving the way for our progression into the last eight of the competition.
However he also bagged the winner as he came off the bench to help us beat Mansfield Town in the FA Cup, and also played every minute in the Premier League as we won three out of three to stay in contention on three fronts.
GABRIEL
Our centre-back was solid again throughout the month, helping us keep clean sheets against Brighton & Hove Albion and Everton in the Premier League, and register another against Leverkusen in our 2-0 second-leg success.
He also proved effective at the other end of the field, as he assisted his defensive partner William Saliba when the Frenchman opened the scoring against Chelsea to kick-start the month.
DAVID RAYA
Another key reason for those shutouts was the form of our goalkeeper, who moved to 15 league clean sheets this term, leading the Premier League Golden Glove race by four ahead of his nearest rivals.
He made some incredible stops in March, especially in our 2-1 win against Chelsea, which included a nomination for Premier League Save of the Month after he flicked away a cross-shot by Alejandro Garnacho to secure the points. He was also nominated for the division’s Player of the Month prize.
DECLAN RICE
Dec continued to be a key cog in our midfield, and kicked off his efforts in March by providing the key assist for Jurrien Timber’s winner against Chelsea – his 11th in all competitions this term.
Meanwhile a fourth goal of 2025/26 arrived in fine style against Bayer Leverkusen as he curled home from the edge of the area with a first-time finish to secure our passage to the quarter-finals for the third season in succession.
