Tommy Setford and Brayden Clarke have both been nominated for February’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
Brayden featured in all five of our under-21s games last month, while Tommy featured in four, keeping three clean sheets.
We started the month with a dominant 4-0 win over Leeds United, which saw Demiane Agustien net a hat-trick, with Brayden and Tommy helping us to keep a clean sheet.
Our next two games saw the duo help us to two more clean sheets in a 0-0 draw with Everton and a late 1-0 win over Newcastle.
While our run of clean sheets came to an end against Reading, Brayden played his part in a thumping 4-1 win which consolidated our place in the PL2 play-off places, before we were beaten 1-0 by Ipswich Town in a tight affair at Mangata Developments Stadium.
Brayden and Tommy are joined on the shortlist by Rio Kyerematen (Tottenham), Chido Obi (Manchester United), Matty Warhurst (Manchester City), Kian Noble (Manchester City), Joshua Ajala (West Ham) and Reyan Clayton (West Ham).
The winner will be announced next Friday, March 13.
